It's been a while since I blogged here instead of over at my lovemymusic blog. Check that out btw, lots of interesting reading. But on the Naturally Focused front what keeps me busy in a week? Well other than facebook (j/k) I have about 4 to do lists going on.
I've been working away on creating the gift shop and a DVD slideshow demo to show customers what it is I can offer them. As well I am also working with my ex-husbands girlfriend a little so that I can create greeting cards with my photos and working on the marketing ideas. Down the road I see myself hitting the pavement and walking into shops to get these babies out there so that they aren't just available online.
My daughter (the little songstress) has signed up for Seussical at her new school and I took a big leap and asked to help out with design, set design and advertising/promotional. This is going to be something that I hope to put to DVD slideshow and offer to sell for the school and that is the type of project I've been looking for. Getting my name out there to a few hundred people and selling some DVD's of events is something I have wanted/needed to do for a while.
Sheesh, I've also got the regular home type to do lists like everyone else. You know, paint the hallway, buy some gardening supplies, finish tiling the kitchen, etc. Despite having lots to do I enjoy it. Ever notice the busier you are the busier you want to be?
On top of the to do lists I usually take at least 300 photos so I'm out and about with my camera and for me this is a great time of year. My computer currently has about 27,000 photos on it and 98% of those photos are pics I have taken myself and just in the last 3 years too. About 3000 of those pictures are of flowers so I'll have a lot of thinking of you/thank you/sympathy cards for everyone to buy! YAY!
Well just writing about it makes me antsy. The problem with that is picking the right things to do to feel like I've got more accomplished than not. Planning requires follow through or its just that - planning. Planning needs to become something. And with that I'm off... to buy some garden supplies or compile photos or what have you. Whatever gets the job done.
