Last summer, camera in hand, I kept myself busy with a multitude of things. The kids and I went to the circus, took a trip up north to see my family and spent days at the park and making crafts. The pics said a lot about the summer, it was bright it was pretty and it was fun. Now into week two and all I've had to show for the summer is a few trips to my friends pool and one good day with a sister at the movies but more fun IS coming! YAY!
First on the agenda is a trip to see Lisa and Daren and get the big ball rolling with the Alchemy Unplugged plans. Those are so long overdue but what will come out of it will better showcase both the talents of AU and Naturally Focused and help us market some merch down the road for both companies and I really am excited about that but honestly there is nothing better than spending time with "muh besties"! LOL! It's gonna be so great to have some bonding time!
In the plans is another trip up to Kenabeek with my sister. The kids can't wait to travel up with Auntie Nonna to see Gramma and Grampa Prince and their cousins and aunties and I myself can't wait! I get to see my nieces beautiful kids and take their pictures as well as head off to the beach and to New Liskeards awesome movie theatre for the mind blowing fee of $2.oo per kid!
I get to watch my sisters 3 kids perform with their multitude of talents including flute, piano, vocals and I'm sure my own daughter will love the opportunity to show what she can do in her own way too. I will get to take pics out in farm country that you just don't get to see every day and visit with friends in town and shop in those little familiar places I love.
I truly am excited. I love spending time in Kenabeek every summer (btw thats pronounced Kenabeck) and watching the kids spend time with my parents. A change one year makes is always amazing to watch through their eyes. I'm excited to spend time with all of the people in my life without schedules getting too much in the way and I'm excited about the pictures! For me it really is a lot about the pictures, go figure! LOL! With that being said, I will post an album of photos from last summer that didnt' quite make the cut and then next time you hear from me will hopefully be after a great trip out to Burlington and we'll go from there! Enjoy the summer folks!
