I know I'm a little late to post about Valentine's Day but better late than never. Some things take the time that they take for a reason. I have been searching for the right words to put down with my pictures that best fit the subject of communicating love through art and language.
Simply put, its quite easy to muddle things up with too much thinking about love. I searched for the words I was looking for and decided to Google the words "quotes on love" and most web cites started with quoting one of the earliest quotes on love known to man. Yes, I'm referring to 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes,....etc..."
Funny enough when I read that I know there is no better way to describe a complete love. But what happens when love takes a wrong turn? You can absolutely see where love goes wrong after its gone wrong but every day we wake up we make a choice on how we love in this world on this day. Mistakes can be made, people can unintentionally hurt someone they love without even knowing what they do. Most people in this world are loving, good and true.
So where do we go wrong? Well the site that I used to find the bible verse actually had a page full of quotes and the very last one is for me, the best descriptive of where we go wrong with love.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
What can we do best to help foster love? It is to remember that love truly has no place with fear. Love should drive out fear. Punishment has no place with love. When communicating with love behind our intention we may make a mistake but in the end of it we can't fail. True love for others has no end. I think thats why my photos are the kind of photos that they are. I see this world so beautifully, so brightly and positively most often times. There is no fear in my photos, no darkness, no punishment. There is only love. With that I hope that people who actually read this blog enjoy the photos and that you trust you are loved.
