Oh boy, it has been sooooo long since I sat down to blog and I have totally missed doing it but I am making it a vow to become a far more regular thing! The goal is a bi-weekly or at the very least monthly shout out to let you know what's going on! So what's going on? .... Kittens!!!! If you check out my latest project with Lisa Nicole you'll see we shot a music video for her rendition of "Bring Him Home" from Les Mis. During our first day of shooting we got a bit of a surprise, be sure to head on over to my youtube channel or click this link to see what I'm talking about in my short video "Our Kitten Story".
The finding of 5 abandoned kittens who are barely 3 weeks old can turn a house hold upside down but in a good way and I am now 3 more beings live in my house. Ironically the last blog I did was just after my Fletcher boy passed away and I have missed his big furry paws and big furry head, he was my rock that is for sure. Camry has been lonely without him so you'd think she'd be happy with her new friends but alas, its going to take some time for her to adjust. The kittens being here has added to my plate with my photography as well and I'm working on a kitten calendar that will be both creative and fun. Combining drawings and kittens with a new twist is something I hope people are interested in so we'll see how it goes!
What else is new? The photo studio is in full swing and I've started doing holiday mini shoots. There's lights, snowflakes, snowmen and more to add to the fun. Honestly I'm really enjoying things now that school is over. I totally miss everyone I got to know and care for but this working from home thing is AWESOME! For one its probably because I'm not always home! When doing photo shoots I'm either in the studio or out and about on a location and when doing my new photo booth I get to meet great people at events where there's a lot of music and fun. In my time spent at home its all about ironing out kinks and preparing for this full business in a way that I haven't known how to do before and I love it!
